A perfect rainy day project.
We spent some time this week preparing and installing a bathroom infill slab for a client in Largs Bay.
We removed the existing concrete slab before the plumber installed his underfloor drainage. We then installed some quarry rubble to suit a 120mm floor slab and compacted it.
To ensure the works were NCC code compliant, we engaged a licensed pest controller to treat the cold joints between the existing dwelling and the proposed slab and all plumbing penetrations.
Next we installed forticon and reinforcing before placing and finishing the concrete suitable for tiling at a later date.
